This one is for the men who still don't get it, and for those who do but need to feel like they aren't alone in order to start speaking up and doing better, even if they risk getting pushback from other men.

(I'll make another video about that soon.) by @smartvillain401

Shane Gillis is the kind of comedian that only Kid Rock and your loser friends from HS who routinely post AI slop on FB think is funny.

And if you're THAT bothered by what women wear at the gym, maybe instead of clutching your pearls and making your weird aversion to women's bodies everyone's problem, perhaps you could try to do what any normal adult would do: avert your eyes and focus on your own workout.

Or go to men-only gyms, where you can admire your bros' glistening muscles in peace, idk. No one is judging. You do you.

But like... some of y'all heteromaxxing red-pilled clowns do protest to each other about women's bodies a bit much, methinks. by @smartvillain401

"I'm the kind of man who would absolutely protect a woman against a rapist!"

Oh rly?

You'll fight ninjas to protect her? Some dangerous assailant in a dark alley? Is that right?

You won't even stand up to your friends, to your coworkers, to your family members, or to your community leaders when they put down and dehumanize women. How are we supposed to believe you'll risk real physical harm to protect women when you won't even risk an ounce of social capital?

Bravery isn't hypothetical, my dudes. It lives in the choices you make every day. You can't be brave only in the future. You have to be brave today.

If you're too much of a coward to risk having other men in your peer group exclude you from it for merely holding them accountable for their behavior, you'll definitely be too much of a coward to face a physical confrontation to protect anyone.

Sit with that as long as you need.

On the bright side, you can choose to be brave if you want to be, and that starts by doing the easiest of the hard things.

That conversation doesn't have to start with @hasslofficial, but perhaps it should. by @smartvillain401

Maybe (not maybe) if we prioritized protecting women and kids instead of going out of our way to protect rich white boys and men instead, no matter what harm they cause, our society wouldn't be so completely shit except for rich white boys and men.

The solution seems really simple, idk. by @smartvillain401

So you want to be an alpha male?
Cool.

It's an idiotic term that doesn't apply to humans, but since not everyone knows that, and a lot of very confused boys and men have tumbled down that shit-stained rat hole, let's go there.

If you want to be perceived by other men as an alpha, stop simping for Manosphere grifters, and forget everything Red-Pill douchebags have tried to teach you. Andrew Tate and his dweeby cohort of dipshits don't know the first thing about how to be a man, a leader, or an "alpha," but I do. All real men know how. It's super simple, and this is how it's done.

Now stop being part of the problem and go be a better man.

I don't need to put this on the moms, the grandmas, the aunties and other women in boys' lives. They're busy enough as it is.

I'm putting this on fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles and other father figures in boys' lives, because they're the ones modeling manhood and masculinity for those boys.

They're the ones teaching boys what it means to be a man. And looking around at the state of things, they're dropping the ball HARD.

WE, collectively, as men, are failing in our responsibility not only to keep women safe and show up for them in all the ways that we should, but in modeling, embodying, and carrying the torch of healthy masculinity for future men.

So, this is Part 1 of a series about that, and I hope that you'll help share these posts with all of the men who want to see them, and with all the men who desperately NEED to see them.

Follow up to my previous post.

Let me talk to the dads here for a minute. Moms too, but I need dads to lock in.

It isn't enough to teach your sons about consent, boundaries, respect and basic decency. They don't get to call themselves good men (or men at all) simply for not raping women. Good men, which is to say 'men,' prevent rapes.

They don't sit on a group chat while a fellow student gets raped for 7 hours.

They don't walk away when they see a group of men getting a woman drunk.

They don't give their friends a pass when that's who the predators turn out to be.

Your sons won't grow into the kinds of men who prevent rapes on their own. They'll probably grow into the kinds of men who won't ever think to take action to prevent an assault, or will consider it but decide it isn't worth the trouble.

Especially when it turns out that the rapists they could have stopped are their own friends.

It takes extra courage for boys and men to stand up to their friends and set them straight, to risk their entire social circle over the safety of a stranger. The discomfort alone is enough to get boys and grown ass men to choose to say nothing and do nothing.

It takes a special kind of kid to stand up to their friends, to the cool olde boys in school, to their fraternity brothers, or any authority figure abusing their power.

They won't grow up to be good, safe, anti-rape men unless you help them get there. Those college boys who could prevent rapes but choose never to do so are the default. They are what happens when parents do nothing to help shape their sons' understanding of what it actually means to be a man.

So... sit down with your sons and start teaching them how to be different from all of those other useless losers who never ever ever lift a finger to help prevent a rape.

If enough parents do this, we have a shot at making a real difference. It just starts with you. by @smartvillain401

What I keep thinking about too is all of the other boys who saw the group texts come through and made no effort to stop it.

No one said anything.

No one came to help.

No one called the cops.

They don't get points for not joining the seven. That's not how it works. But they aren't off the hook. If they knew it was happening and chose to do nothing to stop it, they're complicit. They're guilty too.

The deeper question here is WTF kinds of boys are we collectively raising? Entire little armies of HS and college aged boys and men are exactly like this. It's terrifying. What kinds of men are we sending out into the world, and what kind of world can we all hope to have of this is what we're producing at scale?

Rapists and cowards. Manosphere losers and violent INCELs. Misogynistic abusers. Predators and their eager audience.

Fuck.

Not a single member of that fraternity tried to help her. Not one.

That's going to be on my mind for a very long time. by @smartvillain401
