Steph,
Thank you for all of your hard work, your generosity, and the countless ways you’ve shown up for me over the years.
You are the kind of friend who never asks, “What can I do?” because you’re already doing it. Whether it was running errands, helping with whatever I needed at a moment’s notice, or taking on the never-ending tasks that come with building something from the ground up, you were always there.
I honestly don’t know how I would have made it through opening Ludic, Revitalize, and SMD Atelier without you. You poured so much of your time, energy, and heart into those spaces. The endless hours fitting ceiling tiles and taping grids with washi tape, troubleshooting problems, and doing all the little things that nobody sees but that somehow make everything work—you were right there beside me through every step.
When I look back on everything we’ve built, I don’t just see the salons. I see the long days, the hard work, the laughter, the exhaustion, and the friendship that carried me through it all. So much of what I’ve created has your fingerprints on it.
Thank you for being the friend who shows up. The friend who notices what needs to be done and does it. The friend who gives without keeping score and supports the people they love with their whole heart.
I am endlessly grateful for you, for your friendship, and for every hour you invested in helping me bring my dreams to life. I hope you know how much that has meant to me—not just then, but every day since.

Not only did he custom build my salon suite, he did it all while being the #1 soccer dad, taking Charlie to every tournament and game, being the proudest and most dedicated dance dad, supporting everything I do in our community, winning his & hers Greater IC awards with me, running his own thriving business, still making time for date nights, surprise flowers, and little gifts… oh, and casually building and finishing an entire basement by himself over the last year too. 😂

The right extensions in the right way.
