The Dry Down - Episode 3

Not everybody is meant to walk with you through every season of your life.

One of the things I've learned about relationships and friendships is that sometimes people grow in different directions.
And that doesn't automatically make someone a bad person.

Sometimes life changes. Priorities change. Perspectives change. And the people who are part of one chapter may not be equipped for the next one..

That doesn't erase the history, the memories, or the value of the relationship.

It just means you have to recognize when things are different.

A little fragrance. A little life. A little perspective.

I know people don't want to admit it. But clones and inspired fragrances have their place in this space.

Had it not been for Afro Leather, I may never have put nose on the African Leather DNA. It has been one of the fragrances on my wishlist and now it is in my collection.

Again, thanks to a clone.

Say what you will but clones have helped my fragrance journey.

Don’t blind buy this just because it says “Pumpkin.”

Dominance Gold Pumpkin Noir by @superz.budapest has one of those note breakdowns that practically sells the fragrance by itself: pumpkin, apple pie, cinnamon, honey, crème brûlée, vanilla, amber and smoke.

The real question isn’t whether Pumpkin Noir sounds good.

It’s whether it delivers the dark, edible fall fragrance you’re probably imagining.

I’m putting some proper wear on this before the final verdict.

Not every villain is the bad guy.

Villain by @worldofchriscollins has that polished yet mysterious energy that gets more interesting the longer it sits on your skin.

It opens with brightness and spice, but the tobacco, myrrh, and Vetiver start pulling it into a darker direction as it develops.

Refined, confident and DEFINITELY not boring.

Not everything requires a response. Sometimes the best response is no response.

Don't allow the desire to be correct or right, make you lose focus responding to every little thing.

Are there times where a clap back is necessary? Do you sometimes need to let em know who you are? Absolutely. But that is not to be our consistent course of action.
