The Mountain (Prod By: @skeyezbeats

”The cascading waterfall, tears of crying yout,
Don't who this applies to,
But if you feel the pain then it probably happened to you...too"

THE CONCEPT:
The Mountain is a metaphor for the journey. The beautiful struggle & the unsure feelings of doubt during the climb...The Appreciation of the journey, the highs and the lows...The realisation of how INCREDIBLE the view is.

(Track 8: DRUGS SMS) At one point I lived next door to a shotta's yard on my right and a brothel to the left. These are some the elements which formed me.

From young I saw the harsh realities of 'Life' whilst being protected by the Love of a single Mother who was way over-skilled, grossly underpaid and under appreciated.🕊️

"I'll sleep when I die" I used to say whilst chasing a coin, not realising I was sleep-walking.

I've dabbled in drugs, alcohol and many late nights where making it home was nothing but luck overcoming stupidity 😂

Tip of the iceberg of my Story. But what I realised is whether it was the pill popping 16yr old I met who lived in a £multimillion house, with architect parents regarded as some of the best in Europe. The High Court Judge I met who was high off coke and alcohol, the sex worker with a beautiful Soul whose Smile reflected the Pain in her eyes, or the local 'nitty' who had a colourful past tarnished by Crack but a great sense of humour and charisma for days...

They were all struggling to face Trauma and Accept it. They all felt alone in some way. They all had to SAVE THEIR SOULS

>>>>>You're not ALONE<<<<<

My first experience with depression was through my mum. I didn't know why she was 'sad' and 'angry' all of a sudden. I couldn't understand why she stopped seeing the bright side that she taught me to appreciate.

I thought she was just being negative. I began pushing her away when my smile wouldn't 'bring her back to normal'. When she stopped laughing at my jokes. When she seemed to be in pain all the time...

I didn't understand... Until I did.

It took me years to forgive myself for not being there for her like I thought I should've. Until I realised it wasn't my fault and it wasn't just her 'choice'.

Today she speaks through me. My smile came from her. If you've ever connected with me it's my mother you owe a thank you to. If I've helped you smile it's mumsy who should receive the credit. If I've ever supported you it's my mother who deserves the praise.

I am who I am because she showed me what real unconditional Love is.

Millie, you Queen... Linjani? I hope you're well 🫂💙🕊️☀️

Linjani OUT NOW

Written over 11 years. Experienced over a lifetime.
Linjani (the album) is an expression of everything you've probably felt before but thought you were alone in feeling.

One of those rare freedoms of expression for no motive of personal gain. Shared for others to heal from, grow from, learn from and Love.

All songs mixed in-house by an amateur (me). Some beats soo old I can't remember which producer to pay. Some lyrics so personal most wouldn't display. A tip of the iceberg and a tip of my hat to you all.

Meaningful music never left...we just stopped looking hard enough.
