A few photos from my recent road trip.. Packed what I could fit in my car and my dog. Hot springs, ghost towns and lots of dirt. I love solo travel in Mexico 🇲🇽 Celebrated my 44th at @rubasbakery.mx 🥳 Best grilled Caesar ever 🤤 The cake was such a lovely surprise! I ended up taking my salad to go because my splint makes it hard to eat haha. The fork and my right hand are not friends 🤣 taken in Ruba's Bakery by @smileywiley29

Anyone who knows me would say “of course she got stuck 3.5 hours away, alone with no cell service” after a day of rockhounding for sunstones, I got high centered and completely stuck in clay mud (around 5:30pm) fortunately I was able to connect to satellite and my Bestie @ladybird_07 came to the rescue! Sheriff got to me at about 10:30 pm. (stayed the night with a friends family member that lives in the area) Meg was able to pull my car out and all ended well… according to the sheriff, I might not have seen anyone for days as I was on a road that was not used often, and due to recent raining and flooding was dangerous! I would’ve had to walk about 18 miles to a nearby mine to find help 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ day trip turned into a long weekend #lost #oregonsunstone #oregon #offroad taken in Spectrum Sunstone Mine & Public Dig by @smileywiley29
