🐴💕 Meet Daphne, Stella & Chili! 💕

We have some exciting news… three new little faces have officially joined the Smiling Faces Equestrian family! 🥰

First up is Chili Pepper 🌶️, a liver chestnut standing around 10.3 hh and approximately 17 years old. Then there’s Stella Ella Olla 🌟, a sweet palomino who is around 15 years old and stands at 9.1 hh. And last but certainly not least, meet Daphne Duck 🩶, a beautiful dapple grey who is approximately 15 years old and 10.2 hh.

Each of these little ones has their own personality, history, and story to tell, and we’re so excited to see them settle in and become part of the SFE crew. 🐴💕

But this is just the beginning! 👀 Keep an eye on our Instagram because we’ll be introducing each of them a little more, sharing their stories, getting to know their personalities, and showing you what they’re getting up to around the farm.

Welcome to the family, girls! 🥰🐴💕

🐴🌿 MEET THE HORSE MONDAY: OLIVE! 🌿🐴

Hi, I’m Olive, but you might know me by my fancy show name, Olive Garden. 😉

I’m a 20-year-old, 16.1hh Thoroughbred and a beautiful bay girl. I came to SFE in May 2024 after spending many years in Lindsay as a show horse—and I still know how to put on a good show! 🏇✨

I LOVE to canter and jump, but I’m a little selective when it comes to riders. I don’t enjoy having lots of different people ride me, so only a select few get the honour of climbing aboard. You’re welcome. 😂

I’m very easy to impress with kids bearing food, especially apples. 🍎 But please, and I cannot stress this enough… DO NOT bring me mints. 🤢🌿 They’re firmly on my hate list.

When I’m not cantering, jumping or reminding everyone that I have standards, you’ll find me hanging out with my best friends, Dobby & Shamrock. 🥰🐴

Fancy show horse, professional apple enthusiast, occasional diva, and definitely a girl who knows what she likes. 💁‍♀️🍎

🎂 Happy 3rd Birthday, CeCe! 🥳🐴💕

Our little CeCe is officially THREE today! 🥹

From the tiny dun foal we found out in the field to the sassy little troublemaker she is today, CeCe has grown so much!

She’s curious, playful, food-obsessed, always looking for a little mischief, and somehow manages to convince everyone else to join in on her adventures. 😂

This past year has been a BIG one for CeCe, from working hard in her training to stepping into the show ring for the very first time. We couldn’t be more proud of how much she’s learning and growing! 🥰

Happy birthday to our sweet, sassy little Coyote Cutie! We can’t wait to see what adventures year THREE brings! 🎉🐴💗

Meet The Donkey Monday: Burrito!🌯

I’m Burrito, the farm donkey… aka the protector! 🛡️

Well, technically I’m supposed to be the protector, but I’m probably more of a professional troublemaker and part-time destruction expert. 😂 If there’s something I can get into, move around, chew on, or generally cause a little chaos with, you can bet I’ll find it!

Because of my… unique personality, I live with our ponies and have officially taken on the very important job of farm greeter. No one can arrive at the farm without me yelling at them to come over and say hello! I take my greeting duties very seriously. 📣

I came to SFE in September 2022 when I was 5 years old. My old owner could no longer afford to keep me, so SFE bought me so I could stay with my best friend. ❤️

Since then, I’ve made lots and lots of new friends and have become a favourite around the farm!

I have a few special talents… including sitting on people. 😂 So if you see me nearby while you’re kneeling down, beware! I promise I won’t kick you… but I might decide that you look like a perfectly comfortable chair. 😉

I also eat pretty much anything and absolutely LOVE putting things in my mouth. My favourite game is probably trying to eat the halter while you’re attempting to put it on me. Hehe! 😏

I may be a little mischievous, but I have a big personality, an even bigger heart, and I absolutely love being part of the SFE family. 💕
