I am so happy college is over! I almost died the past 2 weeks trying to play catch up with classes and take finals. I am going to miss miss miss seeing all my college friends every day 😭 God blessed me with the best roommates ever! And Mark finally wore the jacket I bought him! What a 10 outta 10 semester! I even discovered my whole entire future as a biologist! Thanks @doctorchaney Everyone come visit me at Yuba State Park this summer! ❤️❤️❤️ XOX by @smithshandee

Wow what an incredible trip! Yay for Ecuador! God did so good making that country. It’s beautiful! We got absolutely eaten by bugs and got to see the biggest active volcano in the world. I learned you have to pay to use their public bathrooms. The breakfasts were so good! I got so good at eating fruit and eggs and yogurt and breads. Probably went on the longest hike of my life and got to see a beautiful lake. I’m so glad to be back in the states sleeping in my own bed and showering in my own shower. ❤️‍🩹 by @smithshandee

What a wonderful semester! God is good. Thanks for bringing these wonderful people into my life. You have my heart 😭 It was so so good to go back to Lewiston and Hayden. I love every single person there! And my sweetie companions! Was the trip overshadowed by arriving back to the airport and having my catalytic converter stolen? Yes. But! It just ended up with me missing 2 extra days of school and spending that time with my family! If you see a girl driving a 12 passenger van around Ephraim, it’s me!! 🫶 by @smithshandee

Family means different things to different people.

To some, family means mom, dad and the kids.
To others, family means single parents doing the job of two to make a home.
To some, family means living with grandparents too.
To others, family is the aunt or uncle who has stepped up to fill in for parents.
To some, family means two moms or two dads growing a family together.
To others, family means two people multiplying their love through adoption.
To some, family is limited to blood relations.
To others, family includes friends who are there through thick and thin.
To some, family is all about the people in their lives.
To others, pets are considered family members too.

Yes, family means different things to different people,

Aaaah! I am so glad to be back with my family! Orderville has never felt so beautiful (even in the gloomy snow). These past 2 weeks have felt like a weird dream. I am so grateful for these wonderful angels on earth who have been part of my last 18 months. I have gained so many sisters and best friends! This world isn’t a small world; it’s a big world. I love my cute family and I am going to miss them so much during the next 18 months. Starting Monday I will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am called to the Spokane, Washinton mission, and I am so excited and nervous to start!

Marshal will be so disappointed that I didn't think of a funny caption, but lately I have just been feeling way too much love for life that i have to be serious for a second.
This world is so beautiful, and I am so glad I am alive living in it right now. I love my family so much and I miss them everyday. I have broken a record with how much time I've spent talking on the phone to my parents and siblings.
I am so grateful for my friends, old and new. Everything I've done wouldn't have been half as fun if I didn't have anyone to do it with ❤
I am so excited and a little nervous to start my mission soon and going to Alaska for 2 months was probably the dumbest way i could have prepared for it, but overall I am having a good time. I did get to speak in church which is more than I can say about the time I spent in St. George.
And I figured out why people like to fish. All the old men who come to stay at the lodge crack me up because I just wonder who was in charge the this little boys trip? Like how does that even start? It's a fun tradition anyway and if I was an old man, I would do it to. I'm not even an old man and I want to plan a trip back up here with my family. Only 19 days until I fly home 😭 but who's counting taken in Ketchikan, Alaska by @smithshandee

So proud of my brother Jacob for graduating high school. You worked so hard to get to where you are today. ❤ All the effort you put into school and your education finally paid off. I can't wait to see where you will go from here.
