A beautiful sunset and homemade chicken and dumplings, I hope Dolly is proud of my humble tribute to her up there in heaven. I used this song to put with this photo montage I put together of her amazing life, not out of vanity, but out of hope that she might appreciate the message and that fact that I wrote it. I didn’t know her and I never met her but she’s been in my life since I was a little girl. I won’t ever forget the way she made me feel and the way she continues to make me feel. Thank you Dolly for everything, I will always love you
🦋🦋🦋.

ps…one more thing friends, if you get a chance to visit Dollywood, go on and take it. It’s a magical place! And I’m sure she’d just love it if you’d read or give a book to a child in honor of her Imagination Library. Doesn’t have to be your kid, it can be any little rascal. That’s all folks!!! #dollyparton #imaginationlibrary by @smithsmithmusic

Christmas coming early this year. In the studio with @justdoitbrisk friends, working on a cover, can you hear it? Do you know it? This song always breaks my heart a little. It’s why I wanted to do it. It epitomizes that holiday melancholy feeling we all know and have sometimes, yes?

ps that’s my son Rusty. I love him so much!!! #christmas2026 #holidays2026 by @smithsmithmusic

The sea too has a dark side. One minute she’s beautiful, calm and peaceful and the next cruel, violent and aggressive. We are one with the earth, this is not metaphorical, it is truth. by @smithsmithmusic
