Queen is a young husky who was abandoned in peak summers in a posh South Delhi market.

She had two strain of tick fevers and was severely anaemic.

She has recovered since then and is ready to go a loving home.

Please note this will be a Delhi NCR adoption only.
Pre and post adoption house check mandatory.
She is sterilised and vaccinated.

These are our 5 indie babies
Cashew, Luka, Munni, Payal & Zara

3 of them adopted as full grown adults from the streets. And the little two were thrown in the garbage dump behind our home when they were less than 2 months old. For anyone who gets dessert from us, you must know my life revolves around them ♥️

These pictures are from when they went on a holiday, to a place an hour above Rishikesh. We stayed at a hotel that had never kept dogs as guests. But they kindly agreed to try it out as an experiment during off season. We went for this holiday 3 times and stayed at this exact place. Our 5 fellows were so well behaved that the owners declared the experiment a success and made the property dog friendly

The property since then has been leased to Neemrana, now called Glasshouse by the Ganges. It continues to be dog friendly.

So when you visit Neemrana’s Glasshouse by the Ganges, and stay there with your dog/s , please remember that this was made possible by 5 former street dogs ♥️ by @smittenbakery

For the promotion of chhaunk we did an interview with Abhijit banerjee where Abhijit cooked for the journalist. We did the lunch at mine - and over two hours yday Abhijit cooked up a storm. There was sesame crusted aloo, figs stir fried with hing and curry leaves, a delicious egg biryani with a roasted grape chutney and a mooli walnuts chutney, and A abhjijt- cheyenne invention: millefeulle of papad with baigan bharta ( cooked down with tahini). Dessert by @smittenbakery . I can’t wait to read the piece now by @smittenbakery

Until a few years ago (maybe quite a few years ago since Covid made the last 3 years feel like one long year) I had only eaten Indian eclairs. You know the huge ones with whipped cream inside. Not really vanilla, these days not really cream either (some soy based weird stuff) Then Rudraneil & I visited Paris for the first time and walked through incessant rain and ate everywhere! One afternoon we bought two eclairs from La Maison du Chocolat. They were slender and petite. The classics - a chocolate & a vanilla. We took one bite while walking down the street and stopped dead in our tracks. WTF is this? This is an eclair? It was so lush. So vibrant & full of flavour. I came back home & made so many different eclairs. My most distinct memory was how refreshing the eclair felt. Not heavy or greasy. And each time I made yet another eclair I would ask R - do you get that same Paris feeling? One day it finally hit the spot! I would never claim that our eclairs are like the ones at the famed @lamaisonduchocolat_paris , but all these years later, they still give us that Paris feeling 😁
