The national theme for Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) 2026 is "With Survivors, Always", building on a deepened focus on community and structural action that started last year with the Domestic Violence Awareness Project.

Every October, organizations and individuals unite across the country for a national effort to uplift the needs, voices, and experiences of survivors. Congress declared the month of October to be Domestic Violence Awareness Month in 1989.

If you or someone you know in Georgia is currently a victim of Domestic Violence, please call 800-33-HAVEN.

When Georgia ends up in court over a major state law, the Attorney General may be the one representing the state. Yep, we vote for that person.

Take a closer look at the candidates and how they say they would use the office.

That voter registration you check before Election Day? Georgia’s Secretary of State oversees the state’s voter registration system and plays a major role in election administration. 🗳️

If elections matter to you, this race should too. See who’s asking for the job and learn where they stand.

Ever wonder who has major influence over what moves through the Georgia Senate? Meet the Lieutenant Governor. This office helps shape the Senate’s work and which issues get attention under the Gold Dome.

Don’t let this be a “pick a name and keep moving” race. Research who’s running.
