i started taking photos and noticing graffiti in Atlanta once i literally WATCHED them paint over that tunnel that welcomed you into Little5Points.

it was a horrible feeling. that piece of art made by many graffiti artists was the spot that made me feel welcome in Atlanta . It felt like home. so i started taking photos of graffiti before they decided to paint over it and make it ugly and boring

Also idk if there's a direct correlation but in the towns , there's 5pointz. One of the original homes of graffiti in NYC, and maybe that's why i felt home when i was there. Little5points and 5pointz was like the bridge for me between nyc and atl. More than that, the bridge between art and humanity.

bow , and they better not paint over this one

and sometimes the prints be better than the shot

BlackWriterWeekend 2026

to you,
creativity is an act of courage and honor. you must be courageous to allow your art to be seen, interpreted , understood, and perceived by someone other than yourself. Out loud and unapologetically, forever. the craziest thing about your art is - it will out live you. it will continually tell a story for generations to come , allowing your art to grow like a tree in a forrest of creativity.

@dhayanalejandrina and friends came to share
"Creative stillness " a reframe-work of something we all experience "creative block" . Saying the word blocked now makes me shiver because why can't we just be still? Nurture this part of stillness in our lives without shame?

creative and writer, Abner Al-Ameen, sat down front row day 1 - watching and note taking every. single. Short film. Invested in the stories of others, he came to encourage and support his fellow artists while promoting his book "In between Worlds".

Ponder on it .
