Have been working on a fun project for Summertide.
When I was going through some of the past releases I realized how special certain songs were to me.
These two especially and I felt like they didnt get the proper love they deserved from me.
I went back and rerecorded specific parts and added new elements.
Remixed and Remastered the way they should have been.

It’s been a while since I put out a new song and I am beyond excited to share this one with the world!
“echoes” came into my life at the right time.
The process felt so natural and it flowed out of me in ways reminiscent of some of my favorite songs that I have put out since I started this little project.

I have pushed myself in ways I never imagined possible before. Experiences like this make me very excited for all the things I could accomplish.

Thank you to anyone who has ever cared!

Today is the day…

I’m reflecting on this song a lot right now.
It means a whole lot to me.
It is an incredible experience to share it with the world. It’s out there and is no longer a little song that existed in my phone.
I haven’t felt this proud in a while.
Expressing yourself and showing it to the world is a really scary and liberating experience.

I want to thank Rachel for taking the time to be involved in this. I am constantly inspired by you and grateful to have you continue to be a part of this project.

A huge thank you to Sofia as well for creating something that really spoke to me and helped put a visual to this song.

Today means so much more to me that I could ever express. If you’re taking the time to read this or even listen to my song… thank you! taken in Mexico City by @smmrtide

Happy 3rd Birthday to It Takes A Village.
I still love this record and get just as excited about it as I did when I was writing it.

I don’t think I put so much of myself personally into anything I have written prior.

It was so scary putting out music on my own and not as a band or something that was created with other people’s input.

I will forever be grateful to all the people who helped with this. To anyone who sang or played on this. To anyone who’s talents went into making this come to life.
I thank and appreciate you all! by @smmrtide
