They got me. They got me good..

I’m used to people watching me work but for a moment, the whole venue was looking my way and i could feel it.

I turned around and like a dumbass, i started to read the letters behind me but didn’t cotton on to what they were spelling.

When the penny finally dropped, i put my hands up. They got me.

Good job Candypants crew.. Good job 😂

Coincidently, that was one of the best Afterbrunch parties we’ve had to date.

I couldn’t play louder or in more of a party spirit, we had a blast.

As a DJ, i left there knowing i hurt some feet.

Job done. 👍

I popped into the offices of Defected while i’m briefly here in London.

I LOVE what they’re doing and the way they’re doin it.

House Music has a home in London and this is it.

The studio is sick, the live lounge and all the photos of my own DJ friends filled the place.. Very heartwarming to see.

And the message in the pic is 100% accurate ❤️ taken in Defected Records by @smokingroove

I’m not letting a lack of DJ gigs get in the way of me getting a Lambo. 😐

This is why there is no such thing as ‘The world’s best DJ’.

It doesn’t matter if you prefer house music, techno, Hip Hop or whatever else. Your music tastes are are yours. taken in The Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE by @smokingroove

After taking a whole year off the radio, i’m finally bringing it back to speakers around the world. New music, new vibes and an upgraded format.

Honestly, i needed a bit of a break away from it, and after getting a lot of messages about the show, it made sense to bring it back now.

The original show i had back in the UK had a big following, with over a million downloads on iTunes up until 2011.

I took a few years off between bringing in the 2nd wave of shows, which went on to be syndicated in over 60 countries, and now I’m about to bring in the new 3rd series.

I’m going to have to find a way to top the last two seasons. I can’t wait to see what my haters have to say 😂

You heard it here first, next episode is about to drop. 😎🙏 by @smokingroove

The Hard work finally paid off !

I’m not flexing, but just want to thank God! I went from no DJ gigs, to living paycheck to paycheck, to saving enough money to subscribe to Chat GPT so I could generate this picture.

I’ve been busy recently. Among a whole series of new projects, the next 4 new Smokingroove tracks are ready (one special one coming out end of next month), and i just finished mixing down this one, titled ‘The Light’.

Very happy with the vibe on this one.

That, was a great weekend!

We all partied the weekend away and them feet got a workout.

When i DJ at a great party and get to play the House Music releases i’m feeling, the vibe transmits to the crowd and they transmit it right back.

It’s a win-win for all of us.

More please. by @smokingroove

Loco Dice & myself a little while ago..

Both of us originally came from the world of hip hop and expanded our musical knowledge through electronic music.
