4 seasons in The Buck, that’s a 5 star trip.
5 stars on my head, the way the time sped by quick.
Coulda left the heist with 1, but that was 2 easy.

The congrats always louder than the support,
Especially if you drop your crown.

It ain’t a smoove post without the caption,
But I’m lost for words to say
Spent the night at @syber.exp
Where the big dogs come out to play.

Grateful for the opportunity, appreciate the team for being so genuine and supportive!! Shoutout everyone that slid & continues to show love. More to come soon.

SYBER SELECTS Pres. @smoov1e | AUG 08 ❇️

Smoov1e is a Perth-born selector who picked up mixing in 2020, straight out of high school, a lockdown challenge from his parents that grew into a six-year craft.

A move to the US in 2021 pulled him into the frat-party circuit and the sound of the east coast; time spent in New York and New Jersey, alongside friends from the area, is where his love of jersey club took hold. College was also where two close Brazilian friends put him onto Brazilian funk, another sound now woven through his sets.

Back home, that bounce sits next to the afro sounds he grew up on: afrobeats, afrohouse, amapiano and gqom, the music of his African heritage. He mixes it all like one continuous conversation between scenes, threaded through hip-hop, with a single throughline: a floor that doesn’t sit down.
