September 30 is a day to honour Survivors of the Residential School system, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the lasting impacts on Indigenous peoples, families, and communities.

Wearing orange is a visible reminder of our commitment to learning, listening, and reflecting on the history and ongoing impacts of the Residential School system. Today, we join Canadians across the country in recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

Today is an important opportunity to reflect, but reconciliation does not end on September 30. It is a commitment we carry forward through our actions each day.
