We’re bringing together Black leaders from across Colorado to help increase Black voter turnout this fall and develop the next generation of Democratic leaders.

Congressman Joe Neguse, Senate President James Coleman, CU Regent Wanda James, Denver City Council Member Darrell Watson, Denver Democrats Second Vice Chair Micaela Parker and NAACP Rocky Mountain State Conference President Omar Montgomery will serve on our new Black Leadership Advisory Committee.

Let’s get to work. 💙 by @smurib

Months on the road across CO with counties, organizing, fundraising, and kicking off canvasses. Then last night, home. Thanks to @eagledemsco and Senate President @colemanforcolorado for putting the stakes in perspective. Kerry, as usual, gave a barn-burner speech about our public lands when she introduced Scott Fitzwilliams.

Eagle’s to-do list: a Democratic sheriff, county seats, flipping the 3rd with @romeroforcolorado, and reelecting @joeneguse, @repelizabethvelasco, @meghanlukensforcolorado and @dylanroberts_co. We’re going to get it done.

Bonus: Lisa Lewis made Uly a name tag! Great job on a fun and meaningful fundraiser, home team. by @smurib

The @gilpincountydems Peak to Peak Fest was such an energizing way for mountain Dems to come together to not just organize for the election, but also showcase local woodworkers, civic groups, share in some local food and beer, and build community together. It was great to meet a couple who said the fest was their first experience with our Party — this type of event is exactly how you build a Party that grows and welcomes everyone. A thrill to spend some time with Chair Gibbs, CDP Treasurer Andy Yaste and @ron_meehan. The creativity and excitement mountain Dems bring to the Party is really special, and I can’t wait for next year’s fest! taken in Gilpin County by @smurib

What a powerful early start to the Labor Day weekend with our friends and partners from across organized Labor celebrating Dem champions for working people like @repelizabethvelasco @seligmanforag + @mjweissman, who each got awards. Love seeing @janiceforcolorado, who we are 100% determined to reelect this year. And — hey — the brisket was some of the best I’ve had in CO! taken in Denver, Colorado by @smurib
