Today I want to talk about how amazing it is to be a part of the Kensington Creator Collective @kensingtoncreatorhq

Last year I was honoured to be a part of my favourite author @author.jenniferhartmann Arc Team. It was honestly a dream come true!! Then this year I was asked to be a part of the Kensington Creator Collective to be on Jennifer’s “Queen Of Harts” team. Since then iv met so many amazing creators within her team, all of who have amazing artistic talents and all that rave about the joys of being apart of this team. Though this is my first time with the Kensington team I hope to be apart of their team for many more years to come.

Now I just want to gush about Jennifer for a moment. I found Jennifer a few years ago and realized that I had stumbled upon one of the most talented and gifted authors of my time. I have since read almost all of her books and every time she breaks my heart in an unsuspecting new way just to put it back together with such care. Jennifer is so graceful and kind to her readers and really makes all of us feel we are part of something special because we are. I can’t wait to continue to cheer and hype Jennifer up as she continues to shower the reading world with her masterpieces. #jenniferhartmann #kensingtoncreatorcollective #romanceauthors #queenofharts by @smuthutrus

To say I’m excited for @author.jenniferhartmann new book “Dead Things” is putting it way too lightly. I’m counting down the days (176 😅) literally lol Jennifer is my all time favourite author and I only found her books just over 2 years ago and she’s broken my heart and put it back together multiple times already. I know she will do it again with this book. The cover is stunning and the sprayed edges on Deluxe Edition is just 😍😍 too stunning. Keep an eye out for updates and more info on what to expect with her new novel. #jenniferhartmann #kensingtonpublishing #newbooks2027 by @smuthutrus

**ARC REVIEW**

Well I made it… not in one piece but I made it.. even if it’s in pieces!

Anyone who knows me well knows that Jennifer Hartmann is my favourite author and I was so blessed to be chosen to be an arc reader for her new master piece that comes out TOMORROW!!!

Chase & Annie have easily become one of my favourite couples, their meeting was a disaster, followed with so much longing for one another it felt like my heart was being ripped apart.

All of Jennifer’s works have the ability to tear my heart to pieces before putting it back together in the most beautiful way, where I’m not the same person I was when I first started the book. Every one of her books I rate 5 ⭐️’s, I wish I could give this one even more.

Chase and Annie’s chemistry and attraction was off the charts (even from their messy beginning) and it made the spicy scenes soooooo good.

The only thing I didn’t love were ALEX’s POV I literally wanted to punch him through the whole book. With that being said biggest trigger warning for those that have struggled with D/A, as it was hard to read. If you’re good with that then I 100% recommend you read this beautiful book.

Happy Filthy Friday my fellow Darklings 🖤
Alright where do I even begin with this duet.
I read Torment part 1 & Torment part2 back in May within a span of 48 hours. I have read another 30 books since then and I can still say it is going to continue to be the best read of 2024 for me (I personally do not believe any other book or series will be able to top it this year).
To say these books tore my heart out right out of my chest while it was still beating only to mangle it then but it back together before shoving it back in…….I would not be kidding. I cried so many ugly tears from the emotions this book made me feel both good and bad. The relationship progress and dynamic between these step siblings (Mina&Shay) was beautiful, dark, obsessive, twisted & truly unhinged. The character development was just so beautifully written and explored that I left feeling like I had known them and grown along side them my whole life.
When it came to the smut it was definitely a lot lighter then I prefer (still quite dark) but the story kept me so engaged that I didn’t feel like it was lacking in that area because there was always so much more to explore in their lives/relationship with each other.
I could easily go on and on about this book but I really just don’t want to give anything away because the twists and turns in these books you just do not see coming (some smacked me right in my damn face).
The fact that this was a debute for @dylan page is insane, she’s just a genius in my eyes.
These two books can easily be read as a duet only but they are part of a 5 book series called
“The bleeding heart series”.
I had to take a break after these two and have yet to read the other 3, but they are in my TBR list for this year.
I HIGHLY recommend checking the TW’s as this is a very heavy read and I think it’s wise to be prepared for what you’re going to get before diving into it. That being said if you are okay with the TW’s grab these books, a box of Kleenex (maybe more) and settle in somewhere comfy for a wild ride you’ll never forget. #tormentpartone #tormentparttwo #darkromance #dylanpage #bookstagram #bookreview #bookrec by @smuthutrus

Filthy Friday 🥵

Hello Darklings, for our very first “Filthy Friday” I’m doing a review for one of my favourite reads of 2024.

“To Burn In Brutal Rapture”
By the beautiful and very talented @authornylak

If you’re looking for a dark, steamy, angsty kind of love story this book is definitely for you. It was a slow burn but baby when it started to burn it exploded with all the best kind of spice you could ever imagine.
This book kept me on my toes! I always thought I knew where things were leading but just when I felt I was about to understand a piece of the puzzle, I was thrown back in a totally different direction. The FMC (Tracien) was a strong willed woman right from the beginning even as a child. I loved her dedication and loyalty to the MMC, the way she was with him it was like she was made just for him. When it came to our MMC
(Mr. Lazarus Weston) of course I fell in love with him right away due to his grumpiness, his loyalty to his friends, and his down right stubbornness when dealing with our FMC. I will tell you be prepared for all the twists and turns as it’s a wild, bumpy ride. One that will leave you breathless and if your anything like me … your panties a little (ok ALOT) wet 🥵

Daddy Lazarus Weston will forever be in my list (which is becoming very long) of Book Boyfriends!

Welcome to SmutHutRUs my fellow Darklings,
Where I will give you the darkest, spiciest & filthiest, book recommendations and reviews. I aim to do one a day but we all know how life likes to get in the way of things we enjoy….. so it may be more like one or two recs/reviews every few days lol

This bookstagram is a fan of all types of smut whether it be contemporary, fantasy, horror or even my personal favourite taboo 🥵
(There may even be a few softer romance books thrown in from some of my favourite authors)

There’s only really one rule I ask everyone to follow which I feel is pretty simple,

“Don’t yuk someone else’s yum”

Whether you are an author or a fellow reader, if you have a book or series you would like me to review and recommend on my page feel free to send me a DM as I would love to chat with all of you.

Until next time Darklings 🖤
