Because I’m just a girl 💁‍♀️

I’ve been a book babe since June 2023 & I’m tired of clogging my personal feed with Bookish pages, so here I am!

Funny memory: I recall buying a couple smut books from Barnes & Noble in high school. Couldn’t tell you what I bought, but I remember one was kidnapping with a p!ss k!nk, so are we really surprised I read dirty smut?

Things about me:
• Favorite bands are Avenged Sevenfold & My Chemical Romance (I have tattoos for each band); and Dayseeker
• I suffer from debilitating emetophobia (fear of vomit) & it controls my life but I’m in therapy for it - also open about my mental health struggles (anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma)
• The beach is my favorite place, I want to retire in the OBX one day
• I started reading smut to help with intimacy issues from childhood SA & I know a lot of others do the same
• I also enjoy collecting crystals & oddities
• I live in MD, any local book babes?
🖤

I had started making this when I was reading Small Town Smokeshow but by the time I’m getting to posting this, I’ve already finished Where I Can’t Follow 😅 All of these books were 5 ⭐️ reads for me!

These were my first reads from @authorhollyrenee and I CANNOT WAIT for book 3! Waiting like a dope fiend for it 😆 and @kristen_granata never disappoints, this book was perfect and I’m so glad I got to read the ARC but it’s out now so grab it! ❤️ by @smutwithsteph

The first photo isn’t exactly fake, it’s at my mom’s house! But with two Australian Shepards and a working farm with lots of dust, precious books are not allowed. So I improvised 😆

With Kicking Up Dust, book 2 in the Whittaker Ranch series by @cassietruettwrites coming out Sept. 8, now is the time to read book 1, Playing With Fire! Immerse yourself in the little town of Cedar Creek, and meet the family and friends you will 1000000% fall in love with. Go go go, what are you waiting for?! 🧡 by @smutwithsteph

I had the opportunity to receive an ARC for @delilahcardinelleauthor debut book, The Cowboy’s Cabaret, book one of the Spikes & Spurs series.

I feel like I had so much in common with the chaotic brains of the main characters, and their mental illnesses. Recognizing that you deserve to get help so you don’t carry a heavy burden forever is life changing. I think Daphne and Wes compliment each other so well, and have so many common joys. It’s hard to think you deserve love when your own brain doesn’t always love itself. Can’t wait for book two, and to see the orchard’s journey 🥹

What you’ll find inside this book:
• Friends to Lovers
• Instalust
• Y’allternative Vibes
• City Girl 🖤 x Country Boy 🤠
• He Falls First
• Mental Health Rep
• Down Bad MMC

If you recommend a book to me, there’s a chance i’m blowing up your phone with messages as I read it 😂 likely not as many as I send to my bestie, but I cannot make any promises!

I’m almost done with the Windy City series, except for Monty‘s book, but Caught Up has been my favorite! They’re all so good though 😭❤️ by @smutwithsteph

Guys. I’m reading the Windy City series by @liztomforde.author and I just need to know why I haven’t been forced to read it sooner?! How have I been walking earth without the knowledge that men like Ryan Shay and Kai Rhodes exist?! 🥵

I’m still on book 3, no spoilers yet 😅🙏 by @smutwithsteph

I’ve seen this trend go around and love seeing the mix of opinions. Look, I want to love every book but we all know books are art and everyone sees art differently.

Do we have the same sentiments on anything I shared? by @smutwithsteph
