Married To My Best Friend 💏

Hulk Hogan was such a formidable character through my childhood that transcended wrestling. He was art, entertainment, mind, body, spirit, and a physical specimen the likes of which I hadn't witnessed. Unfortunately in the last 20 years or so, he let a lot of negative shit overtake him, and I lost a lot of respect for him in the process.

Regardless, he helped shape what wrestling eventually became... an incredible entertainment machine that my wife and I continue to indulge in every week. Thanks Terry... rest easy. by @smythdan

Damn, didn't even have time to post about Hogan and saw this. Heard him playing in the house when I was a kid. RIP Chuck.

Go listen to "Feels So Good". Nice little jazz pop song with a sprinkle of disco in it. 🕺💃 by @smythdan

I've had 26 amazingly beautiful years of marriage with this incredible woman. Through the ups, the downs, incredible highs, devastating lows, pleasure, pain, and everything in between, this unbelievably beautiful person by my side rides with me. I have experienced love, laughter, and some of the most special moments that a man can only dream of.

I love you more than life, my soulmate! Here's to the next 26! 💃🕺🥂🎉 by @smythdan

I'm not going to lie, things are very tough for me right now.

I have the most incredible support from this amazing woman. She shines light upon me constantly and keeps me grounded through all of this. Thank you so much baby...

But recovery from these surgeries has been incredibly rough. I'm not used to being so weak, so tired, and in so much pain. Everyone told me to take it easy and don't push it, and I'm unfortunately learning what that means. My body hurts so much, and the mental and emotional effects that it has on me are truly agonizing and overwhelming at times. I tend to stay quiet because everyone has problems, mine are no different, so why sit around bitching and moaning about it?

So this isn't bitching and moaning. This is a moment in time that needed expression. I didn't want to feel alone for once. I'm inviting you all in, just for a second, so you know that I'm here, and I hope to start sharing positive moments once again, soon.

Much love, everyone by @smythdan

Just a quick note to thank EVERYONE who's checked in to see how I'm doing and everyone who helped us out, we're surviving because of YOU! 💝 Taking it a day at a time and mending every day... ❤️

I've seen a ton of vitriol and political bitterness flying back and forth on social media, so for now, I'm gonna just duck out and recover in peace and bliss. Those who want can reach me anytime!

Love you all! I'm out!
