I know I’ve been away for quite a while post wise but I’ve been busy settling in to my new life and job here in China! So you’re getting a photo dump! Here’s the dishes I’ve been eating on my journey to Beijing! It’s been quite the journey; Relearning a new language, navigating the Internet here and getting acquainted with my new students.

I’ve been here for a month now and I can say that I really love living here! China is truly a very beautiful country and I get all the China glazing and chinamaxxing content! 🇨🇳

Another thing ticked off my list before moving. A nice curry. Big shoutout to @breakspeararms for their lovely curries, naan, roti, paneer and keema! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! I know it’s super basic to all my desi friends and I know there’s much better things in Indian cuisine. But I love a good butter chicken, paneer tikka and roti. The fish curry was also amazing but much spicier than we bargained for and the lamb keema on top of the paneer was simply sublime! Definitely worth the drive if you’re able! The extra tall glass of mango juice was also the perfect size! 🇮🇳 🍛 🍚 🫓 🥭 #indian #breakspeararms #foodie #curry #rotinaan by @snacksifu

Had a delicious fish and chips with my family in the neighbourhood where I grew up. Blue Ocean has been in Pitshanger lane has been around for over 40 years, it used to be where me and my kung fu mates would get chips after our classes. I enjoyed a classic cod and chips with mushy peas and Irish curry sauce and a fanta fruit twist with gherkins, all favourites of mine 🐟 🍟 🥒 definitely worth a pop in! Extra points for nostalgia for me #supportlocal #foodie #fishandchips #british #pitshangerlane by @snacksifu

Afternoon tea with my family. My last one before I move to China. Thank you to @teadarlinglondon for a wonderful afternoon tea experience and for accommodating my allergy by offering alternative jam for their lovely scones! If you’re in Acton, I highly recommend them for a lovely, traditional British afternoon tea that won’t break the bank! The scones were the shining stars of the whole thing! The carrot cake and tiramisu were made in house which I personally loved 🥰 🫖 🍰 🇬🇧 🥪 #afternoontea #british #acton #teadarling #homemade by @snacksifu

I love Hong Kong Chaan Chan Teng food because it’s often very simple. I order creamed chicken and corn with fried egg and spam rice with cabbage 🥬 🍚 🍳 🍗 🌽 #chachaanteng #creamedchickenandcorn #hongkong #ealing #foodie by @snacksifu
