🦁 A wild day out at ZooSafari Fasanolandia in Puglia! 🇮🇹

This was honestly one of the best zoos we’ve visited in Europe. 🐘🦒🦓 What makes ZooSafari Fasanolandia so special is how close you can get to the animals — it feels much more immersive than a traditional zoo.

Driving through the safari area and seeing animals roaming freely around us was such a memorable experience, especially for the kids. 🦁❤️ There’s also a fun amusement park area, making it a great full-day experience for families with children.

If you’re travelling to Puglia with kids, I’d definitely put ZooSafari Fasanolandia on your list! 🌿

Ostuni, Italy 🤍 The White City

Ostuni, one of Puglia’s most beautiful gems — and the perfect place to get lost in a maze of whitewashed streets, charming corners and breathtaking views. 🇮🇹✨

We visited on a very hot summer day, so instead of walking all the way uphill, we opted for a ride in one of the little sightseeing vehicles. Definitely worth it in the heat! ☀️

Ostuni is known as “La Città Bianca” (The White City) because of its striking whitewashed buildings. The city has ancient roots dating back to the Messapian people, and over the centuries it was shaped by Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Normans and others. Its historic center, perched on a hill overlooking the olive groves and Adriatic Sea, is full of history and character.

And of course… no visit to Ostuni is complete without a delicious gelato 🍦, followed by a slow wander through the tiny, narrow streets and beautiful little alleys.

We tested three different lidos in three different price ranges — and the result was surprisingly clear. ☀️🌊

For a family with kids, the most expensive lido was the clear winner. Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for. From comfort and facilities to the overall experience, the difference was noticeable.

A hidden gem on the heel of Italy 🇮🇹✨

One of the most magical ways to explore the southern coast of Puglia is by boat — cruising along the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea, discovering dramatic cliffs, secret coves and breathtaking sea caves. 💙🌊

We sailed from the beautiful coastal town of Santa Maria di Leuca, right at the southern tip of Italy, where the Adriatic and Ionian Seas meet. The coastline here is absolutely spectacular, with turquoise water, rugged rock formations and caves that can only truly be appreciated from the sea.

A slow day on the water, sunshine on your face, swimming in hidden bays… pure Italian summer. ☀️⛵️🇮🇹
