What a year huh?

Sometimes I feel like I hallucinated the whole thing. Do you ever feel like life is moving so fast and you’d just like to dig in your heels and slow it all down somehow? I don’t know if I grew this year and I couldn’t really tell you what I learned but I know this, I tried to be a good person and I’m just grateful to be alive and healthy and free. And loved. What more is there than that?

8 months work in 3 seconds ✨

I bought my first ‘real camera’ two years ago and I started learning how to animate my photos in Premiere Pro 8 months ago.

I’m not saying this because I want to say ‘look how good I am’ I say it because there was a tiny voice in my head that said I wouldn’t be able to do it. I didn’t listen.

If that voice speaks to you too, don’t listen. Whatever you want to do, you’re capable. It’s never too late. Do it now.

I’m still learning but the act of creating brings me more joy than I ever could have imagined. I want you to have that too. ✨

Amazing what a slip of red plastic over the flash can do! ⭕️

I’ve wanted to try this ever since I saw @nurcaglapolat do it. Full credit goes to her for this idea and her template, which I used. She’s one of my biggest inspirations right now, go check her out!

Eclipse 🌞🌝

Watching this was incredible but it gave me the creeps. Somehow it tapped into something primal and set off a weird sort of anxiety. The minute and a half of darkness felt so wrong. Even my dog could feel it - I took him on a walk and twice he stopped to bark at things that weren’t there.

Also - hi! First post in four months! Breaks are good for the mental health, if you’re thinking about it, do it!

Original designs by @snapnoevil reimagined by @indaditya_

For this piece, I collaborated with @indaditya_ , who reimagined the architectural elements and vibrant windows into geometric shapes. He carefully aligned each shape to preserve the structure’s feel and manipulated the surrounding atmosphere using Photoshop. We adjusted lighting, color grading using Lightroom, and subtle glow to maintain the original mood while giving it a unique geometric reinterpretation.

These were based on stills from my colourful brutalism reels, which all start with my photos, edited with Photoshop to illuminate windows then are cut up and animated with Premiere Pro. Some of the larger buildings are made with Midjourney, trained on my photos, then animated using Premiere Pro.

Sometimes we stick with what we know, even if it hurts us because at least it’s predictable. Better the devil you know…

Sometimes we tell ourselves it’s not that bad really, just to avoid the stress of making a change.

Sometimes we tell ourselves we should just be grateful and that others have it worse, even when something feels off.

But some views just aren’t worth the price we pay.
