-BRIEF-
Baguio is a mountainous city located on the main island of Luzon in the northern Philippines. With abundant greenery and cooler weather, many flock here during the summer season to escape the sweltering heat and blazing sun rays. Baguio is one of the only areas of the Philippines where you can experience cold temperatures and heavy fog, reminiscent to areas like San Francisco/Pacifica.

-WAR HISTORY-
Baguio is where WWII had officially been kickstarted in the Philippines. Shortly after the attack of Pearl Harbor, Japanese forces bombed nearby United States Air Force Base, John Hay. The Japanese imperial forces took control and turned the area into an outpost, even taking over the local country club (seen on slide 4) which officers would use as a get away.

-Present-
During my stay here at Baguio, a typhoon 🌀 had rolled through, creating an atmosphere unlike any typical area found in the Philippine lowlands. by @snappedbygav
