My generation were lucky And we knew it. The freedom of a life without smartphones, without influencers, you just did what you did and went where you went and felt what you felt. #1980s by @snapper1979

🐜 The Great Termite Battle of Summer 2023 🐜
That summer I discovered that the termites had taken over the finca.
One of the roofs had almost collapsed, and countless door frames, doors, and windows had to be rebuilt. It was shocking and overwhelming.
A huge thank you to Claire and her superhero team, to Craig, Abdullah, Diego and Ionut, together we fought back! 🐜We had only a few months to complete this massive restoration before the start of Purple Valley Yoga retreats. @purplevalleyyogatenerife

To my family, I’m sorry that what should have been an idyllic summer holiday was interrupted by construction, and chaos. It was truly one of the most challenging and intense periods i ve faced here.
Thank you to everyone who followed and supported us through it 🧡🌿

My friend of 41 years ago ( not on instagram )turns 60 years old in a couple of weeks. For a woman, this number poses a challenge. 30 something , ( who should we be?)40 something, ( who are we? ) 50 something ..( why did I? What was it all for?) these numbers and their expectations are irrelevant and belong to a narrative I’ve never , ever subscribed to. Yes, we get older , our exterior will age. We are the only species on earth that gives a shit about our age and try to reverse it. It’s ludicrous . Numbers are irrelevant. Energy is ageless. 30? 40? 50? 60? All chapters that bring freedom if you let them . 🤙🏻💃🤡 #fuckoff taken in La Caleta, Adeje by @snapper1979
