4 years ago I met Jessica. Leading up to our first date, we kept rescheduling and changing our plans constantly. Our lives went on until I was on a shoot in Mie Japan documenting a pearl farm. That's when Jessica had messaged me changing her mind for the hundredth time that she was finally ready to meet. From our first date two wildly indecisive people immediately knew that we were in love.

And for the past 4 years I've been thinking about that day, what was it about me that Jessica changed her mind and decided to give me a shot? What was it about the pearls that felt so special that day?

So it only made sense that a pearl from that tiny farm should bind and symbolize the next stage of our lives.
