I hope I never become too busy to notice this. 🌿🌙

The birds flying by, peacocks appearing out of nowhere, neelgais in the distance, the sky changing colours at sunset, and the moon slowly saying goodbye to the night.

Just a morning walk with Simba, a few little moments, and a reminder that life is happening right here, right now. 🤍

Sometimes, the best things in life are the ones that don’t cost a thing.

Vadodara, may we never get too busy to notice your little wonders. 🫶🏻

Save this as a reminder to slow down, and send it to someone who needs a little peace today.

Dear VVN Management, please stop issuing so many daily passes! 🙏🏻

Worst Garba experience ever! 💔

People are paying for season passes, but because of the overcrowding, we can’t even enter the ground properly, let alone enjoy Garba. The ground is clearly not big enough to accommodate this many people, so why are you still issuing so many daily passes?

You have already seen the situation over the past few days. The crowd is completely out of control, yet nothing seems to be changing. Why are season pass holders being made to suffer when they have already paid for the entire season?

Please stop focusing only on making money and start caring about people’s safety and experience. Garba is supposed to be about enjoying the music, dancing, and celebrating Navratri — not struggling to enter the ground or feeling suffocated in an overcrowded space.

We deserve to enjoy Garba too, especially when we’ve paid for season passes! Please take responsibility and control the crowd before things get worse. 🙏🏻

What was meant to be an evening of devotion and celebration turned into a devastating tragedy in Kolkata on Saturday, October 17, after a massive stampede at a Durga Puja pandal reportedly left at least 20 people dead and dozens injured. The incident occurred at the popular Chorbagan Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal in North Kolkata during Maha Saptami celebrations, as sudden rainfall triggered panic among thousands of visitors.

According to preliminary reports, heavy rain prompted large numbers of devotees waiting outside the pandal to rush towards the covered premises for shelter. However, visitors already inside were reportedly reluctant to leave because of the downpour, creating severe congestion near the entrance and exit. As the crowd surged forward, several people fell, triggering a deadly crush.

The incident took place around 7:40 PM near the exit gate of the Sarada Park (Chor Bagan) pandal, under the Girish Park Police Station jurisdiction. Some reports suggested that a section of the pandal collapsed amid the chaos, although authorities have not conclusively established the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Eyewitnesses described terrifying scenes as people struggled to escape the overcrowded passageways.

Several visitors reportedly lost consciousness, while others were trapped in the crush. Witnesses also raised concerns about narrow entry and exit routes, inadequate lighting and crowd management arrangements.

Kolkata Police confirmed that approximately 35 people had been shifted to Medical College Hospital for treatment. While multiple media reports placed the death toll between 17 and 18, official confirmation of the fatalities was still awaited at the time of reporting.

Emergency response teams, police personnel, firefighters and disaster management officials rushed to the location. Authorities immediately closed the pandal to visitors and deployed additional personnel to manage the situation. by @snapvadodara

Concerns Raised Over Safed Parindey Garba Event in Ahmedabad

The Safed Parindey Garba event in Ahmedabad has come under criticism after attendees raised concerns over basic facilities despite paying up to ₹15,000 for a pass.

Attendees alleged that drinking water and snacks were difficult to access.

Parking arrangements also drew complaints, with some attendees claiming they had to walk nearly two kilometres to reach the venue.

The report also mentions allegations about the organisers’ response to the complaints. However, these claims have not been independently verified.

The incident raises important questions about event management, promised facilities and the responsibilities of organisers at large public gatherings.
