spread from last week 💕✨ last week i took some time off from a lot of things, including posting,, i’m definitely feeling way more invigorated now and ready to work my butt off in respiratory these next few weeks!

one thing that i’ve been working on is not being too pressed about perfection and instead focusing on creativity and improvement. when i first made this spread, i didn’t think it was “good enough” to post because some of the lines weren’t as straight as i would have liked and the lettering was not as pretty as i would have liked. but i think it’s important for me (and all of us!) to recognize that our efforts should be lauded, even if they’re not the perfect accomplishments that we may have dreamed of.

yesterday was my first time volunteering at refugee clinic! it was a super long day and i didn’t get home til past 10 pm, but it was also a super rewarding experience and i can’t wait to go again. it’s really humbling to get to hear the patients’ stories and more about where they’ve come from and what they’ve experienced.

spread for this week! this was inspired by a spread by @autumnaldrich. one of my friends told me that making an hourly schedule was working better for her in med school so i decided to try it out.

i took a break from studying over the weekend and binge watched blue period,, i really enjoyed it and it really fired up my motivation to do the best that i can! i want to do a journal entry about my thoughts on it soon.

last day studying hematology before exam! honestly i’ve had a really fun time during this module and it’s been nice doing clinical vignettes that aren’t medical zebras :0 it suddenly got super cold here (80 to 25F within 24 hours????) so haru and i have been enjoying a nice day at home with lots of warm naps between practice questions and last-minute cramming

have an exam coming up on friday! i had a lot of fun in hematology so i’m honestly pretty sad to see this module go ;-; i took a lot of notes so i’ll be posting som of them slowly! in undergrad i used to have trouble with making content to post every day but med school is so busy that i can make a whole week’s worth of study content in one day ⊂((・⊥・))⊃
