So happy to announce a new era in my filmmaking journey. Let me introduce you all to a new production company, Tabla Drum Productions. This will be a studio that will focus on projects that are character driven pieces, while at the same time still bring a sense of that entertainment and fun we all love to see for escapism. All of which is curated by a wonderful and talented production team. The first two titles to be released under this new banner will be my upcoming comedy short “The Curtain Call” which will star plenty of familiar faces from my previous work. The second will be a documentary feature titled “I Am A Cosplayer” which is directed by brother, Narendra Banerjee and will also feature plenty of well-known names as well as local names in the cosplay community. We look forward to releasing these titles to you all upon their completion along with many other titles to come in the future. Here’s to the next step!

Raise the grand, it’s opening night!
The official trailer to “The Curtain Call” is here!

A series of mishaps plagues a theater company on the opening night of their inaugural show leading hysteria among the cast, crew and its young director. Things need to go right otherwise, this theater company’s first show will be its last.

“The Curtain Call” is currently in post production and will be released soon.

I don’t know what to really say, I knew you were at the twilight years but I figured we would have more time with you. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye and now you’re gone. You were a true firecracker, someone with a lot of spunk and one of the only few people I knew that could intimidate my dad, a small woman with a big heart. You were my first roommate after my two brothers, someone who always started the day with a smile. I wish we had more time, I wish we got to do more, but I’m happy for the time that we did end up having. At least I can take some solace in knowing that you are now reunited with grandpa up there in the sky, as well as my maternal grandparents. Rest in power Grandma Leena, we all love you! by @sndonib

Spooky season is here and what better way to celebrate this Halloween then by learning about a new horror film that is in the works here at Tabla Drum Productions! Come to our Pitch Meeting on Thursday, October 29 at the Pasquotank County Library community room from 6PM-8PM to hear about “No Witnesses”. This is a feature film that we hope will bring a lot of scares and thrills to audiences like many other horror/slasher films have done before. You will learn about the plot, character breakdowns, confirmed casting as well as view a proof of concept for what the film will look like. Your support means the world to us, so stop by and help us bring this vision to life!

Happy birthday to this lovable little fur ball! It’s crazy to think that you’re already 8 years old! It feels like yesterday we brought you home as a small little pup in my arms! You may be a lot to deal with some days, but as Carl says to Doug, you are my pet, but you’re also my best friend! You’re a good dog Snowy Blue! Happy birthday buddy!!!!

The man who was asked to reinvent Spider-Man is now being tapped to try and reinvent Star Wars for the fourth trilogy in the Skywalker saga. But does anybody even care anymore?

When I saw Avengers Endgame back in 2019, it was an experience that reminded me why the movie theater experience is so important. There was cheering, screaming and applauding all throughout. A lot has happened since then, not just in the MCU but also in how we look at films as well as the world as a whole. There has been so much that has occurred in the last seven years so when it was announced that the film would be re-released with extra material in preparation for Avengers Doomsday’s release, I knew we were in for a treat! Now I’m not going to spend my time giving my thoughts on the film because I already did that when I first saw it, but what I will say is that even after all this time, movie still works and holds up just as well as it did when it was first released. Seeing it in IMAX was also extra special as it gave me a new love and appreciation for the film that I didn’t have before. As for the little extras that we given which tease the big event film in December, I will admit that as awesome as it was to see it was quite sparse. Nonetheless, the real enjoyment came from experiencing this beautiful conclusion to the infinity saga once again in a cinematic fashion. If anything else, it truly shows that even after all this time, we still love this movie 3000!
