If you ask most people “how’d you do it?” most of them have the same or similar answers, “you gotta have discipline” “you have to be dedicated” “find your motivation”.
I don’t disagree with any of these, it’s fair game and would work for most.

But for me?
Every ounce of muscle in my body represents pain that I’ve pushed through.
Suffering I endured in my own mind.
Another day I chose to keep going even when I didn’t want to exist in this world anymore.

It was never about getting fit to me, and although sticking to a calorie deficit, strict routine, and juggling a million other life issues no one person should have to deal with alone is impressive.

I’m more proud of myself that I chose, and continue to choose life instead of the afters every single day even when I don’t want to.

So yea, I’m proud of you.
Not for how you look.
But for the person you’ve become. by @sneaks2oh9
