The moon shines down through the Tree of Life, onto the witch. Moonshine.

EPHROM — the Witch's only successful creation. Built as a battle bot, he survived his intended purpose and became a protector instead. From sketch to final paint, cut to Morning Sunshine by bbox.

He’s a familiar character, but now he finally has color. I’ve tweaked him a bit and I’m still noodling his parts. Once you get into the mechanical bits on a robot, the possibilities are endless — and I haven’t done enough of it yet to build that muscle memory. I’m doing my best. Hope everyone’s having a wonderful day. #swampshell #artoftheday #originalartwork #cod #victory taken in Bel Air, Maryland by @snelsoniiart

SAFE HOUSE.

Every Swampkin knows the sign. If the helmet bird is on the door, you made it — that's a safe house. Staging area, supply cache, warm floor, no questions asked. This one's Bart's post. He's the little snail on the well, keeping watch over the road in. Rescue isn't always somebody dragging you out of the swamp. Sometimes rescue is a door with the right mark on it, and somebody small standing guard until you get there.

Inktober Day 11 — RESCUE. (Catching up the backlog — drawn for Day 11, posted today.) Fineliner, gray brush marker, and white-out on sketchbook paper. Full three-minute draw, sped up, with the finished page at the end.

Music: Swamp Organ Drone No. 2 by Grace.

First post of the day. Bart's getting a model today.

Masking him off his background and giving him a polish — a clean silhouette is the difference between a real 3D model and a blob with the scenery fused into it. Learned that the hard way this morning.

Once he's cut clean, he goes through Meshy for the blockout, and then we rig it. Rig him.
