🩸 Troppi liquidi nelle prime ore

🇬🇧 Why I prefer an absorbent pad to cling film on a fresh tattoo

🩸 Too much fluid in the first hours
A fresh tattoo releases plasma, lymph and excess pigment, and cling film usually can’t hold on large filled areas. It still needs covering: a large wound shouldn’t touch outside agents.

🩸 Lifting and leaking
Cling film shifts, often overnight or in the first hours. If it lifts, fluid leaks out and can carry bacteria onto the wound, besides ruining sheets and clothes.

🩸 Absorb, don’t smother
The pad lets the wound breathe and collects what comes out. Plastic can create a microclimate more favourable to bacteria, and a “boiled skin” effect.

🩸 Good for travelling
Stay protected: the tattoo stays dry, with no classic fluid leaks.

That’s why I always start aftercare with an absorbent pad at the end of the session, plus a couple of replacements for the next 12/24h. I use it mainly on heavily filled work, but it suits any style.

💬 Have you tried this method? Tell me in the comments how it went.

Digital bodysuit project. This design is available as a unique large-scale tattoo for one body only.
This is how you could look after months of work and full commitment. The design has been studied from every angle—no guesswork, just a clear vision of what you’ll wear.
I’m interested in expanding my portfolio with large-scale work: full bodysuits, torso pieces, symmetrical sleeves, and projects that coordinate multiple body parts. Geometric shapes, ornamental patterns, botanical elements—everything designed to flow together as one unified piece.
More projects like this coming soon.

DM for details 🙏🏽

🇮🇹 Progetto bodysuit digitale disponibile come tatuaggio unico su larga scala.

A shoulder cover-up rebuilt from scratch with Luca. The existing tattoo was the starting point and the limit the design grew from, until it found its balance with the whole arm.

We began with a vision of the whole piece, working freehand on the body, and the radial pattern was drawn and planned before the needle touched the skin. The density of the dotwork is what lets it hold over time.

We started from the old tattoo, drawing the shape of the whole piece freehand on the arm before deciding on the details.

The focal point of the arm is a single large mandala, drawn entirely by me with @vesica.studio.app . Here you can see the stencil.

This part has been healed for months and shows how well the detail holds over time, which matters most to me.

In the end the arm reads as a single piece, with the shoulder cover-up and the forearm balanced against each other. by @snertattoos

Healed sleeve on Francesco! It was super funny to mix some suminagashi flow with patterns and some geometric dotwork. More like this please! 🤙🏽😍 by @snertattoos
