most of us meet coffee at the café counter. this one begins much earlier. at the soil. at the tree. at the cherry. 🌱

we're back with at the source 2, our farm to cup coffee travel & harvesting experience with gorus forest farm in mulshi.

two days, one night of slow, hands-on learning:
☕ harvesting & sorting coffee cherries
☕ hulling, milling & terracotta pot roasting
☕ guided tasting with coffee expert ashwin paranjpe
☕ playing with brewing parameters
🔥 a bonfire, a rural lunch, a home-style dinner and a farm breakfast

we're putting seven exceptional coffees on the table, from washed ethiopians and anaerobic vietnamese lots to colombian coffees that taste suspiciously like candy. you'll smell them, slurp them, compare them, and figure out what kind of coffee you actually like.

and once the cupping wraps up, the bar takes over. from 1 pm to 6 pm(until the stock lasts) raj will be brewing your favourites to order, so if you're just dropping by for the coffee, you're welcome too.

good weekends have a way of turning into game nights. 🎲

so we’re doing the whole weekend, with mind games café taking over snickerdoodle coffeeworks, dombivli.

saturday 10th is for the quiet ones. blood on the clocktower, where someone in town is lying and you won’t know who. a storyteller guides you from your first secret role to the final vote, and all you have to do is look someone in the eye and say “it wasn’t me.”

sunday 11th is for taking your time. light strategy games like ticket to ride, catan, splendor, azul, cascadia and calico. satisfying to play, and just competitive enough to keep the coffee coming.

and if one round of suspicion wasn’t enough, blood on the clocktower is back on friday 16th. 🕰️

no rulebooks, no figuring things out alone. the board game masters at mind games café will find a game you’ll enjoy, teach you the rules, and play alongside you. there’s a record spinning the whole time, coffee on the table, and a new menu to keep the evening going.

seasoned gamers, complete beginners, sneaky liars, friends looking for a new plan, friday-night escape artists: you’re all in.

then a circle forming, a first clap, and a few left feet slowly finding the beat. by evening, someone in town is lying, whispers are crossing the table, and you're not sure who to trust.

a day later, trains getting routed, tiles being placed, and quiet plotting over a cup of coffee. a week on, the liar's back in town, and this time you're ready.

BRUNCH TABLE 1.0 
8 strangers. 1 table. 0 pitch decks. 
long before "networking events" existed, this is just what people did.  sat around a table, ate together and actually talked.  no business cards. no "let's connect on linkedin."  no one trying to get you on a call next week. 
this sunday, we're doing exactly that. 
we open with an intro round that skips "so what do you do" entirely, play a couple of games that get past the small talk fast, and close it out with one honest round of questions.   because you never know which conversation, from someone in a completely different niche, ends up sticking with you.
