Today we had a visit from Paul at @igelkott.defense

We talked about his experience running a small gear business, what it's like building something from the ground up, and how smaller gear makers in Sweden collaborate and support each other.

Different perspectives and experiences make for good conversations, but ultimately, we all share the same philosophy: to make life in service a little more comfortable. by @snigeldesign

We’ve been at SKYDD 2026 this week. Together with Cubsec, we are showing off our clothing and equipment system for the civilian security sector.

From security officers to protection officers, we’re bringing our experience in tactical gear into an area we’re excited to grow in. by @snigeldesign

We’ve been getting quite a few questions about the compatibility of our Side Pocket Pair 2.0, so we’re here to clear things up!

Got a question about your gear? Let us know what you’d like us to cover next. by @snigeldesign

Paid partnership | Snigel 🇸🇪

I’ve used Snigel gear for years, mostly in military settings, and now some of it comes along on road trips too.

Plenty of storage pouches and first aid bags on the large MOLLE panel, a solid backpack for day hikes, a duffel bag for clothes, and the field blanket always close at hand.

After 12 km of rough gravel roads, not a single thing rattled on the MOLLE panel - which is honestly such a relief.

Then a walk in the woods and a coffee wrapped up in the fluffy Superman cape 💪🏼

A pretty good start to the weekend.
Have a great weekend, everyone. 🌲☕

SNIGEL is heading to AUSA 2026 in Washington, DC, on 12–14 October.

We look forward to meeting colleagues, partners and new contacts from across the international defence community, exchanging perspectives on evolving soldier needs and discussing how industry can work together to meet them.

Since 1990, we have developed equipment around the people who use it. Conversations with users and partners help us understand what matters in the field and where we can make a difference.

They send one of ours to the quartermasters store; we send one of theirs to the armory!

Great to see our products make it into the hands of our good friends at other companies in the Swedish defense industry! by @snigeldesign

"He had everything to gain by staying silent. He spoke up."
At @vikingbrutality, two of our strongest shooters were competing closely. During one stage, one of them dropped a magazine without noticing. Leaving it behind would mean a heavy time penalty.
His rival spotted it and immediately called out. There was still time to turn back, retrieve the magazine and finish before the signal.
A small moment that says a lot about the culture here.
Compete hard but win on your own skill, rather than someone else’s mistake. We value the spirit of fairness and we look out for one another.

“Today, many medics prefer smaller, lighter packs, sometimes even compact waist bags, containing only what is absolutely necessary. Because they may have to carry that equipment for dozens of kilometres. In this kind of warfare, the right equipment is a survival capability. And this is exactly why our cooperation with Apotea and Snigel matters. I was successfully using such Snigel backpack myself for almost 4 years. And I know that it’s a very thoughtful and well designed piece of equipment.” – Vladyslav, a Ukrainian war veteran and former combat medic.

Thank you, Vladyslav, for sharing your experience. We have deep respect for your service. We are grateful to be part of this initiative with @apotea.se and @repower.ngo, helping medical backpacks reach Ukrainian medics on the frontline.

The photos show Vladyslav serving in Ukraine and from last week’s backpack packing event at @apotea, attended by Vladyslav Tarakhtii and HRH Prince Daniel. by @snigeldesign

An unusual place to see Snigel.

We’re more used to seeing our gear in the field. Now you can also spot us in the middle of Stockholm.

A little different for us, but with snigel.shop now open, we thought we’d try something new. by @snigeldesign

Göteborgs Garnisons FPV Förening (@ggfpvf) & 5.amfbat are currently competing in the Military International Drone Racing Tournament in the UK.

As Scandinavia’s first team in the competition, they’re taking on intercept, bomb drop and obstacle course challenges, with their drones transported and protected in our Protective Backpacks.

Good luck, guys! by @snigeldesign

How do you wear yours? by @snigeldesign
