I don’t really know where to start. Writing this comes with a mix of emotions.

For as long as I can remember, football has been my life. Ever since I was six years old, this game has shaped me into the person I am today. The joy, the struggle, the sacrifice, the wins, the losses, the injuries, and most importantly, the friendships.

I already stopped playing once when I was almost 19, then came back at 21. But this time, it’s different. Before this season even started, I already knew it was going to be my last dance. They say if you love something, let it go so I did.

I feel like it’s the right time for me to close this chapter and start new ones in life. Can’t be more proud of what I achieved throughout my time playing this beautiful game. I’m at peace with my decision, grateful for every moment, every challenge, and every person I met along the way, the good and the bad. All of it made me stronger and a better person.

Words can’t truly describe what this game teaches you. If you’ve never been part of it, you’ll never fully understand.

Today, I finish my journey as a football player, after four unforgettable years of college soccer across two different states and multiple memories and friendships that will stay with me forever.

I really tried to keep it short, so all that’s left to say is Thank you, Football. It’s not goodbye, just see you later ⚽️🫶🏽🎯 by @snipers.ptm
