I’m just a girl from Chester, Pennsylvania who beat the odds and did the “impossible”. I did everything I said I was gonna do and more! Every laugh, tear, sleepless night, win, and loss has gotten me where I am today. Thank you God. Thank You Mommy. Thank you Family. And thank you Howard. Now I shall be addressed as Miss Howard Alumna to you! 💋🤣

Ohhhh Sooo Sweet Zeta,

Thank you to my 5 founders for creating a sisterhood rooted in Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. It only took five but what a powerful five they were!

Thank you to my Auntie for showing me at a young age what it means to be a Zeta. Watching you truly live out the meaning of Finer Womanhood really inspired me. Your impact is forever.

Thank you to my J.U.K.E BOX, my 19 amazing sisters for constantly reminding me that sisterhood is important and healing. You guys have constantly supported and helped me in so many ways and I love y’all more than words can say.

To my neos, I am forever proud of each and every one of you. I can’t wait to see all the things you accomplish within Alpha chapter and Zeta as a whole.

I am forever grateful to the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated Quintessential Alpha Chapter for seeing something in me and choosing me to wear this royal blue and white. Thank you for trusting me to uphold the legacy, grow in sisterhood, and lead with love. Graduation may be the end of a chapter, but Zeta is forever and Alpha chapter will always have my heart. 💙🤍🕊️

With love,

Sanaa Nixon
