Title of our piece: Pawn Becomes the Queen♟

In a dark forgotten kingdom an old king teaches his young daughter to be prepared for the dark future to come.
In this small scene we see the young princess Peoni mastering chess and getting to wear the crown for a day, while she believes this was nothing but a game this was her first step to become the Queen that the kingdom will need in the dark future ahead. The father resting calm seeing his innocent daughter celebrate mastering chess, that she will be okay once he can no longer protect her.

Inspired by the concept of a small Pawn becoming the Queen to win a chess match to symbolize the path the young princess will go. Applying the theme of "Student becomes the master" by she mastering chess, a game played by rulers to learn strategy whoever we tried making it unique by focusing in the dynamic of a King father being the original master and a Princess Daughter as the student, while she still yet to become a queen, this story very subtlety symbolize the journey she will go through in her path to become a ruler.

Me and my friends made a game for the Very Serious @juniper_dev Game Jam. Here's a background art piece I created for it! Had a blast working alongside an amazing team and I'm very happy with the game we submitted. The link is in my bio if you want to play it!👻

Racer characters line-up that started as designs for the Character Slot Machine challenge🐟🔋🌸

I may do more with them at some point, I liked thinking of them as playable characters in a racing video game🎮

Character designs I made a couple months ago for the Character Slot Machine design challenge hosted by @nico_cartoon and @kethrinbytheway👑🎻🐦

I had a lot of fun with these, I enjoyed coming up with some vague lore for all of these and trying a new lineart approach

🌸A fanart illustration I made for Cardcaptor Sakura! 🌸

I love the anime so much, I recently finished watching it with a friend and it's definitely one of my favourite comfort shows. I did my best to capture the joy I experienced watching the show in the illustration, I had fun working on it🍰✨
