Last Sunday was one for the books. Hit two murals back to back. Been a helluva ride but we still here, knocking!

The fist and roses are symbols of strength, don’t get it twisted. The message is about standing together, as a community and a message of hope. FUCK ICE

“YOU MATTER HERE”

Three simple words, but for many people, they’re words we don’t hear enough.

This mural was created as a reminder for anyone walking by, whether you’re having a good day or carrying something heavy, that your presence matters. East Austin has always been a place built on culture, resilience and community, and this piece is meant to give something back to the people who move through it every day.

Mental health conversations don’t always happen out loud. If this mural makes one person pause, breathe, or feel a little less alone, then it’s doing its job.

You matter here. Siempre.

“Estamos Unidos.”
We are united.

At a time when families feel divided, when fear and uncertainty live in many homes, this message felt necessary. Art has always been a way for communities to speak when words fall short.

Tonight, while the country watches the Super Bowl and one of the biggest Latin artists in the world takes the stage, conversations about identity, culture, and belonging are louder than ever. For some, that creates pride. For others, tension. But for many of us, it’s a reminder that our stories are part of this country too.

This mural is about unity not perfection. About remembering that behind every headline are real people, real families, and real emotions. And when communities feel divided, mental health carries that weight first.

Strength doesn’t come from standing alone.
It comes from standing together.

Nuestra fuerza siempre ha estado en la unión. En la cultura, en la comunidad y en no dejar a nadie atrás. Seguimos juntos. Estamos unidos.

What a journey it’s been! Looking back at some fun projects we’ve worked on and the memories made along the way. This was an absolutely crazy experience having to cover so much wall space in so little time. All that to say we pulled through 💪🏽 and our homies at @austinfc were stoked to see this come to fruition.

The destination means nothing without the journey. Make sure to take a break and look back at what you’ve accomplished and appreciate the process bc progress = growth. The Rockabilly Rebel Art Battle was a vibe — live art battles, DJ on the 1’s&2’s, cold pours of Hazy Daisy, and great weather.

Watching three artists go head-to-head on a 24ft wall, fueled by creativity, music, and community energy, is exactly why we create experiences like this. Big shoutout to everyone who showed up, voted, cheered, and made this event unforgettable.
