Introducing Tela: a ceiling designed to make an architectural statement.

Created by @wearefactdesign in collaboration with paper-folding artist Peter Dahmen, Tela transforms complex folding geometry into a dramatic three-dimensional surface inspired by coffered concrete structures and structural expressionism.

Sharp ridges and recessed valleys interact with light and shadow to create the appearance of a substantial, carved ceiling, while lightweight PET felt makes installation beautifully simple. Each tile drops into a standard 9/16" or 15/16" ceiling grid.

Tela is made from 9mm PET felt with 60% pre-consumer recycled content and is available in a versatile selection of colors and cork-inspired patterns.

Bold form. Acoustic performance. Lightweight precision.

Contact FABS to request samples or explore Tela for your next project.
