Make room for a little color

The Furrow Collection, designed by @jasonjkoharik, brings rich burgundy, pine green, and dusty peach into the mix, making it an easy way to add warmth and contrast to a neutral space. Style the table lamp on a nightstand, console, or bookshelf, and let the color do the rest.

#ad I partnered with @so_modern to add these final layers to our entryway, and I’m loving how much these two pieces changed the space.

The pendant feels completely at home with the age and architecture of our 1899 Queen Anne, while the table lamp brings in something cleaner and more modern so the room doesn’t feel like a time capsule.

I think that’s one of the things I love most about lighting: it doesn’t just illuminate a room; it can bridge styles, define the mood, and make a space feel designed and not just thrown together.

Would you have gone more traditional with both fixtures here, or do you like the mix of old and new?

Good lighting can change everything.

It can make a room feel warmer, highlight the details you love, and completely shift the mood without changing a thing else.

Ceiling fans should be part of the design.

The right one can keep your space cool while adding to the look of the room. And for National Ceiling Fan Month, our ceiling fans are currently on sale.

Good lighting should work both ways.

The Rowan adds to the room whether it’s switched on or off, bringing form and character to the space while doing what a table lamp does best: setting the mood.

Think beyond the ceiling.

Wall sconces bring light closer to the spaces where we live, adding warmth, depth, and a sense of intention that overhead lighting alone can’t achieve.

A little color goes a long way.

With its playful hourglass silhouette and soft oval diffuser, the Zest Rechargeable Lamp adds a sculptural touch and warm glow to any space.

We’d style it on a bedside table, a bookshelf, or an outdoor dining setup for a pop of personality wherever the moment takes you. by @so_modern
