happy independence day Madagascar 🇲🇬❤️ 26/06/1960, « Black people freedom » as it says in my track Red Island.you can listen back to my Rinse radio show which explores my creative process behind my new EP!Red Island is a nickname for Madagascar, my mother’s country, as the land is red there and it’s one of the biggest islands in the world. Both my first sound system and clubbing experiences were in the South of Madagascar during my childhood. Started my @rinsefrance residency a few weeks ago with a series of visuals created by @ninii.adamia !Nini is an artist with Georgian roots, born and raised in South Africa! She graphically reveals the sounds of music collectives & artists. Just recovered from @memori_festival and wanted to thanks everyone for the beautiful feedbacks about my set 🌞❤️ it’s always an incredible experience to play on @tweak_soundsystem and to be able to fully express my sound. For the latest Rinse show dedicated to labels, I invited @dj_sin__ ! Resident DJ with the Bass Paradize crew and a leading figure on the French dubstep scene. She dedicated it to the @deepmedimusik label, pioneering dubstep label celebrating its 20th anniversary this year!
