Hi friends, I'm Hana, a photographer with 18 years of experience! Can you believe it?

As 2025 comes to a close, I'm taking a trip down memory lane - from 2008 to 2025!

Those early days were fuelled by pure passion and zero skill and knowledge. I’m so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to learn and grow the skills I have today. Im thankful to those who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself 🥰

What do you think about this series?
I'd love to know how long you've been photographing and what inspires you most!

Follow along for all the landscape shots coming from my latest trip to Iceland plus a little abstract project I’ve been working on!

🌙 When the moon feel from the sky

I had fun on my latest trip playing with motion blur and the moon. All these photos were taken using a slow shutter and in camera movement and I think I’m a little bit in love! 😍

Photographed with the Viltrox 75mm f1.8 EVO and cropped. Who needs a telephoto lens, although I’d love to see what I’d get if I had one! 🫠✨✌🏼

This lens is easily the best lens I’ve ever owned!

✨Putting the art in 7artisans 📸

🌻 For me photography has always been a way of processing my emotions when words fail. I’ve been playing with in camera blur and using my lens as my paintbrush to capture raw feeling, expression and emotions 🖤

🥰 I teamed up with @7artisansofficial and took their new AF 50mm f1.8 lite in sliver out for a spin. I really enjoyed creating these and there’s a discount link in my bio if you fancied a new lens too! 😜

💛Do you photograph feelings like this? I’d love to see your photos 🥰

🌻The art of slow shutter and in camera blur

🌦️Photography is all about capturing how we feel. How a moment feels. How our soul feels. For me photography has always been a way of processing my emotions when words fail.

📸I’ve been playing with in camera blur on the 7 Artisans 50mm lens and I’m loving these results!

✨Remember the hero in these images is the shutter speed to create the blur. So we always set that first and aperture and iso come next to balance the exposure. Play around with movements that feel right and see what comes out.

💛I hope you like these shots and I’d love to see your abstract motion blur images too so drop me a photo below and I’ll check out what you’ve captured 🥰

🌄How I use composition in my photography

📍Save this for your next photography project. Hopefully sharing some of the techniques I use helps you level up your photos and bring a sense of balance and visual perfection to your photography.

📷 Here are 7 composition techniques I use in landscape photography. There’s more but these are my favourites!

1️⃣Negative space - brings calm and simplicity
2️⃣Leading lines - draws the viewers eye
3️⃣Centre - Immediate subject focus
4️⃣Rule of thirds - adds balance and movement
5️⃣Framing - adds depth and visual guidance
6️⃣Symmetry - creates balance and harmony
7️⃣Diagonal split - takes you on a journey

📐Understanding composition turns ordinary snapshots into visually compelling stories. And once you understand the rules it’s easier to break them 😜

❔Which composition technique do you use most? 📍Save this for your next photoshoot and I hope you found it helpful! 🤍

📸Forest details shot with the Viltrox 75mm 1.8 EVO lens.
🌱Who knew ferns could be THIS beautiful?!

✨When you slow down and really start to focus in you find amazing glimpses of nature like you’ve never seen before. It was like my own little treasure hunt! It’s been a while since I’ve taken photos of nature like this. It was so calming for my mind!

😜 Do you have a favourite photo? Please let me know which one you love the most and why? I love knowing how you’ve connected with my photos

🪲In slide 3 & 4 the crop shows just how much detail this lens can pick up and the coluor renditioning is breathtaking! I didn’t realise there was a little beetle and fly on this fern until I edited it in post. What a surprise!

📸 I’m not sure what project I should do next! Any ideas? 🙏🏼

In partnership with @viltrox.official and don’t forget there’s a discount link in my bio! 😜

🌈 The art of light

🌷It’s beautiful to spend time in nature searching for light that makes everything that little bit more magical. Just think - without light there would be no photography! 🫪

🌤️I just love the way dappled light catches on a flower petal or diffused light brings a soft dreamy glow. And who doesn’t love the dramatic light of a rainbow 😍 That was treat!

📸 Shot with the Viltrox 75mm f1.8 EVO, this lens really produces some breathtaking detail and creamy bokeh ✨
