There are some days in my life when words just can’t say what I’m actually feeling. Sometimes it’s just best to let the pictures tell the story. Wednesday was one of them. We spent the afternoon on the Impossible Dream Catamaran. I have been longing to get back on the water (it’s been 30 years!!) and this was a year in the making. The best part was being able to spend it with 20 plus people I love. Thank you Deborah Mellen and the Crew.. You make dreams possible. You make the world better. Is hiking in your wheelchair an option? Sadly for many it’s not although It is with @soar__experiences at Minnewasca State Park preserve Sam’s point.. as always, my Magic Xt4 handles it “Like it’s nothin’”

As we wrap up an incredible month of hiking, we want to thank all of our participants, and supporters who helped make these experiences possible.

We are incredibly grateful to continue offering our public hike program. Through these experiences, we strive to increase accessibility to natural spaces, foster community connection and social participation, and create opportunities that enhance quality of life for individuals living with mobility impairments.
We look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces on the trails this summer!

First and foremost .. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECCA!! Hope you had an amazing birthday. Becca is our amazing tour guide at @minnewaskastateparkpreserve for our @soar__experiences escapades. Not only do we get to experience nature in a way disabled people never could before , but we also get to learn about nature. Where else would we learn about lichen and epicormic sprouting????
