I remember how Jaakko and Sonja made a lasting impression on me with their warmth and down-to-earth nature when I first met them. From that very moment, I knew this day would be one of the most memorable ones to capture through my camera.

Jaakko and Sonja’s wedding day was filled with both sunshine and love. The celebration took place at Mustio Manor in Inkoo, a setting that could not have been more perfect for a beautiful summer day. I remember being deeply moved by the atmosphere—something almost tangible—combined with a sense of ease and genuine warmth. It felt as though time itself had softened and blended into the moment. There was no rush toward the next item on the schedule or the next speech. Instead, it felt like being welcomed into a home where friends and family had gathered simply to celebrate life.

I can’t fully put it into words, but it felt like a warm embrace gently rocking you. Safe, accepted, and at ease—just as I had felt that very first time I sat down with them.

Oh my, oh my, oh my.

Last weekend, the dance floor was absolutely packed every single minute, laughter echoed everywhere, and the atmosphere could only be described as “bursting through the roof of the tent.” Jesper and Mathilda were married in the stunning St. John’s Church, which I personally think is one of the most beautiful churches in Finland with all its grandeur. We celebrated in Siuntio, surrounded by the feeling of a backyard gathering (or front yard, side yard, and upper yard), and damn, I love backyard weddings — the whole day always feels like coming home.

I can feel the chills rising again and my eyes filling with tears as I return to that day in my memories. I’m surrounded by the most incredible people, and Mathilda and Jesper, you were no exception. Thank you for trusting my vision and encouraging me to push myself even further. Thank you for letting me be part of your day, thank you for welcoming me into your home, among your friends and family. Your love is immense — reaching in every direction and shining its light through everything it touches.

Thank you for the moments we shared together. I will never forget them.

Hääkuvaus Billnäs Gård - It was one of those days when I sat down in my car after sunset and let out a deep sigh.

Mette and Tomas celebrated their wedding day surrounded by the beautiful setting of @billnas_gard , which truly showed itself at its absolute best among friends and family. It’s never something to take for granted — how closely people allow someone with two (read five) cameras to step into such intimate moments of their lives. I’m still amazed by how much trust that requires, and it always feels like a privilege.
With Mette, Tomas, and everyone there, it felt as though we were all dancing one great waltz beneath a disco ball. Everyone had their place, and everyone belonged in that moment as if it had always been meant to be. And it was.

I took a deep breath and thought: these memory cards are holding something truly valuable. I had poured the last pieces of my creativity into this day, and now they will live on forever in these memories.

Thank you, Mette and Tomas. Thank you for your warmth and for your beautiful way of seeing the world.

I had an excellent opportunity to try the Fujifilm GFX100RF with @fujifilmnordic , and I wonder how a man can fall in love with photography over and over again.

Many of you already know that I love it when the camera makes me slow down, and I’m not sure if it’s the flow or the camera. But it sucked me into this mood where there was nothing else but that particular moment where I was.

With the GFX100RF, it wasn’t just fun; it brought me to the cinema, where I could watch and capture stills from the movie called The Life. I used it for my personal work and weddings this year, and I can confirm it’s the best ”wedding documentary” camera that I’ve tried so far. ”The extra space” -feeling what the big sensor can give to tell more stories is a true pleasure. It’s a shame to view photos on a small screen; they should be printed out and displayed on a wall to see all the details.
