x @sobamfun Two Wednesdays. A bunch of tiles. A perfectly good reason to leave your house, Atlanta.

Come learn mahjong or roll into open play. Bring a buddy who’s always down for something. Bring the buddy who needs convincing. Feed them a taco first.

🀄️ October 28 + November 18
📍 Muchacho West Midtown • Atlanta, GA
Beginner lessons + open play
Tickets through So Bam Fun.

Two things we love: Mahjong and a good cocktail. So we put them together.

Swipe through and tell us which tile you’d order!

When we started So Bam Fun, we wanted Mahjong night to feel easy to walk into. You can come alone, come nervous or come never having touched a tile.

We want you to laugh, ask every question, take your time, and leave knowing a few more people than when you walked in.

That’s the night we try to build every time. Come play with us!

A lot of players assume these are official rules. They’re common, and honestly good habits to keep, but they aren’t actually in the National Mahjong League handbook.

Swipe through for five we see at almost every table!

Think these are just table talk? They’re actually in the National Mahjong League handbook. Which one surprised you? 👇

Nobody picks up mahjong on the first try. Or the second. But stick with it and you’ll come away with more than a winning hand: a little more patience, a little more focus, and a few hours a week with your phone down and your people around you.
