<Voor Kleine Oma>

A film dedicated to Nikki's @nikkiolyvedewi grandma, Kleine Oma, who was born and raised in the segregated mixed community of colonial Jakarta. Like the inherited Indo silence, she never spoke about the darkest pages of her history — yet her trauma was passed to her son and granddaughter, from generation to generation.

How do we cut the ties of intergenerational trauma — and how do we reborn from it?

Huge gratitude to all the people who made this project come to the world 🤍

🔥🌊VRIJDAG: 1E EDITIE NEW SHORES FILM FESTIVAL!

When Yin meets Yang – @sober_ju

Last Shot – Parham Rahimzadeh
