What a beautiful evening! 💙✨

Last night I had the privilege of showcasing my artwork at an exclusive VIP event, First Taste of Fall, hosted by @sobsylvan at Sun of a Beach in Sylvan Lake… An evening filled with incredible food (yes, that is a pasta made in a cheese wheel! 🤤)… I was blessed to share the evening alongside @wildmountainartstudio and @reclaimedchaosdenim . Such beautiful creativity in completely different forms….

Sometimes I look at where I am today and think about the journey that brought me here. From painting my way through grief to now having opportunities to share my artwork, my story, and the hope I’ve found along the way….God’s timing really is something else…

I’m learning more and more to trust Him, His promises, & the doors He opens, even when I can’t see what He’s doing behind the scenes….🥴just grateful to be here, doing something I love, meeting beautiful people, & seeing where He leads me next….

A huge thank you to @sobsylvan for inviting me to be part of such a lovely evening, & to everyone who stopped to admire my artwork, share a conversation, or offer a kind word. It means so much ….

🍂 OUR NEW FALL MENU HAS OFFICIALLY ARRIVED! 🍂

And we think you’ve just found the perfect excuse for a little autumn date at the lake! ❤️

We’ve been busy in the kitchen creating some delicious new favourites, and we can’t wait for you to try them! Including:

✨ Whipped Feta & Blistered Tomatoes — Warm, creamy whipped feta with roasted garlic, balsamic glaze and toasted garlic ciabatta. Trust us, you’ll want every last bite!

🥩 Chimichurri Steak Salad — Tender grilled sirloin, fresh greens, grilled corn, blue cheese and a vibrant chimichurri. Fresh, colourful and full of flavour!

🥧 Pecan Pie with Brown Butter Caramel — Homemade pecan pie, warm brown butter caramel sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The kind of dessert you’ll be thinking about long after you leave!

An evening of great food, stunning local art, and even better company. 🍂🥂❤️

Last night, we brought together some wonderful people from our community for an exclusive First Taste of Fall at Sun of a Beach!

Our guests were among the first to experience some of our new fall menu creations, while talented local artists showcased their beautiful work throughout the evening. 🎨✨

But our favourite part? The conversations, the laughter, and hearing everyone’s first impressions of what we’ve been creating in the kitchen!

To everyone who joined us, THANK YOU! ❤️ You made the evening so special, and we’re incredibly grateful for this community.

And this is just the beginning… 👀✨

With comedy nights, creative art experiences, and our Great Gatsby Christmas Soirée coming up, we’re turning up the magic at Sun of a Beach this season! 🥂🎄
