Some photos from the Inaugral Binational Half Marathon yesterday. I finished in 2:02 and within the top 30th percentile. Not too bad with this only being my second half marathon I guess. It was a tough course, but lots of fun!

Your 1:50 Pacer is ready to go for the Toledo Garmin Half Marathon this Sunday. I did a quick shakeout run this morning at my favorite place, Hinckley Lake, and I'm feeling good!
This is one of three races left this year. I'm also pacing 2:00 for the Tucson Garmin Half Marathon in November and of course running the Binational Race in October.

Tomorrow I'm running the America's Finest City Half Marathon for the 3rd year to finish out the San Diego Triple Crown Series (and get my first Streaker medal). This is also a trial run to see if I'm ready to return to pacing HMs after a long recovery from surgery in June. Goal finish time is sub 1:50 to ensure I'm ready to pace next month for Garmin. A little late posting but thank you @flipbelt for the Gifted Collaboration! The shirt is super lightweight and breathable. The shorts are loaded with pockets with plenty of space to carry everything (and easy access). Filming this left me one handed and I was still able to retrieve my water bottle and gels with no problem. All while tethered to two dogs.

Super stoked that I set a new Personal Record at this race! I wasn't sure how it would go. I was super fatigued at the start. By mile 11 I was almost convinced that I wouldn't meet my goal, however I started picking up speed down 6th ave. After making the final turn onto 5th, I glanced down at my watch, saw how close I was, and bolted to the finish.

Big thank you to @garmin @garminrunning @garmin for the Pace pro feature on my Fenix 8 for getting me across the line (beating my previous PR by 1 minute)

Running the GovX San Diego Half Marathon tomorrow. I'm targeting a finish time <1:44 and a secondary goal of <1:40. I'm finally at the fitness level I was before my injury last year.

Also, this will prove to be a good way to train for the @binationalrace race in October. Both have challenging hills, wonderful scenery, and good vibes.
