POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Allow me to reintroduce myself…

If you’re seeing me and this reel for the first time, WELCOME! I’m Sochima, and not everyone likes me because I’m a London based food and travel blogger that ONLY CARES ABOUT showing people how to save money when experiencing some of Londons most upscale and sexiest places to eat & drink! Basically how to live bougie on a budget! IMAGINE HATING ME? 😉

FYI when I say SEXY I’m referring to places with stunning interiors ✅ good service ✅ and great ambience✅ (NOT❌ the other kind of sexy thank you!).

I LOVE to travel and even when I travel, I like to enjoy a bit of luxury on an affordable scale! Which I’ll share with you through things to do, travel tips and a helpful food guide on the best things to eat! Because if you don’t EAT GOOD on holiday did you even go on holiday? (Serious question 10 marks)💭

So if you like all of what I’ve said and I’m “a bit of you” give me a follow! ✔️

Let’s be bougie on a budget together! And as always
IF IT’S SEXY, I’M GOING! ✨

It would be terrible if…

I didn’t shout out or show you how I celebrated Nigeria’s Independence Day, even if it is a week late 😂 but I had a great time at OMI Lounge. Delicious small chops, live music and DJ.

🙇🏽‍♀️I have to say I’m really loving the rise of more modern contemporary presentations of West African cuisine in restaurants and lounges! More of this please!

Saturdays are for carbs.

This week I brunched at LAVO, where they do a buffet brunch that’s £44 for a cocktail, unlimited antipasti, 1 main, and… wait for it… UNLIMITED DESSERTS! 🍰😭I would’ve put this in my £50 series but this brunch only lasts until the 21st of September! So book fast! ✨

You know what I’ll be honest I didn’t know what to expect…

Come to brunch with me at Omi Lounge.

There were many very pleasant surprises! A menu with clear African roots with some modern and Caribbean injections. This is a fusion that was very nicely done, in a stylish setting that is intimate enough without feeling limited. The live DJ coupled with the many glasses of the Chairman cocktail had us feeling right!✨

Stand out dishes: Rib Eye Suya, Tiger Prawns, Crispy Turkey wing👌🏾

BRUNCH £50 FOR 3 COURSES
Add +£35 for 90 minutes of bottomless cocktails! 🍸

Come to dinner with me…

7:20pm Hot Stone Fitzrovia, London

Always a pleasant experience at Hot Stone, there’s always something new and interesting on their tasting menus like sushi, sashimi and WAGYU beef 😍

They often have discounted tasting menus this was £29.99 for 5 courses with Wagyu instead of £149! (Check @hotstonelondon bio link for more)
