It was an honor to nosh with @nithyaforthecity & gather community to talk about the future of the city we love so much.

I’ve never felt called to back a candidate before. I do now. I may not know politics — but I know how to bring people together. And this experience has opened my eyes to how incredibly complex it is to run a city as beautifully diverse as Los Angeles.

No politician is perfect. But for what it’s worth, I believe @nithyaforthecity is the best candidate for LA Mayor right now.

Thank you to my cohosts @zoelisterjones @maryelizabethellis @lilykershaw @ericachidi @jesszaino @jtoboni @angeliquecabral @laurenmillerrogen. Celebrated the turning of the season a couple weeks back and built an altar for the end of summer’s favorite jewel—in honor of our hummus flavor collaboration, Sunset Tomato & Basil Tahini

Transitions and seasonal in-betweens can feel ungrounding, so we gathered around a table of friends and food that hug you into memories of shedding and surrendering into the crispness of autumn—making change taste a lil sweeter x by @social_hummus
