1 year ago, I threw my DREAM album release show at Turner Hall!! For my 4th LP, I wanted to do something special in Milwaukee (my home)!

The vision was to build a midwest backyard onstage with a flow of special guests coming in & out of the “smoke shack”. I wanted the space to feel like a summer kick back party & as if we’re quite literally sharing a “social cigarette”.

The scale of this DIY operation is actually certified nuts to look back on. I think I went insane for a little bit with how much work there was to do on top of finishing the album, self booking a 2-month long tour, and MOVING the same month😂💀

I’m happy it all worked out in the end & the resulting memories are awesome. The stage design/build, the special guests, the production, lights, promotion. I was thrown waaay outta my comfort zone & learned a whole lot. I’d do a lotta things differently next time around- but damn that was a cool time in my life!

It took a village to pull off & I’m so thankful to be surrounded by really dope friends & musicians to bring the vision to life. Milwaukee rules.
